Peggy Joyce Chudoba, 79, of Colonial Heights passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, following a valiant six month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Princeton, West Virginia on July 18, 1933 to the late Robert Howard Daugherty and Mabel Stafford Daugherty Cook. Mrs. Chudoba was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Chudoba and her daughter, Donna Chudoba Pressley. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, and retired from Bank of America where she worked for over 35 years. After retirement she worked for Stiletto Entertainment refitting costumes for the singers and dancers for Holland America Cruise Line, which allowed her to travel the world for the last 10 years. Mrs. Chudoba is survived by her son J. Bruce Chudoba of Leesburg; her daughters, Stacy L. Chudoba of Los Angeles, California and Tracy L. Chudoba-Wood and her husband, Dean of Ashburn; two grandsons, Brent T. Chudoba and his wife, Brooke and Jaxon D. Wood; a granddaughter, Tiffany L. Chudoba; three sisters, Betty Kump, Wanda Oliver and Carol Hall; and two brothers, Robert Daugherty and Buddy Cook. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, with the Reverend Jim Pfost officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
