Philip Macon Biggs, 61, of Chester, Virginia, died Thursday, November 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, James A Biggs, and his grandson, Jayce P. Jamerson.
Born on January 29, 1962, Philip was a painter by trade, a handyman, and a true jack of all trades. He was a man who knew a little bit about a lot of things.
Philip was a man who liked a cool morning in the woods, where he would sit quietly and patiently for the deer to come out while enjoying all of nature’s beauty. A true outdoorsman, he also liked a warm breezy afternoon on the docks, where he would drown a worm in the hopes of catching the biggest catfish you have ever seen. He will be missed by many, but the love he shared is still felt today by his daughter, his grandson, and many more people who loved him dearly.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan R. Biggs; grandson, Lucas M. Biggs; mother, Roberta N. Biggs; brother, Wesely K. Biggs; niece, Alexus Biggs; nephew, Donald Biggs; and many cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
