Philip Anthony Mirro, aged 46, passed away on Monday, April 10th 2023 at his residence. He is a Colonial Heights VA resident, formerly of Philadelphia PA. He was a US Navy Veteran, a contractor with his family business, and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Dinwiddie. Philip was an avid outdoorsman, who loved surfing and anything to do with the ocean. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Serafino and Rita Mirro, Daniel Ciurlino and Frank Macfarland, as well his beloved uncle Sean Macfarland. Philip is survived by his only daughter, Maia Mirro. He is also survived by his loving parents, Vito and Elizabeth Mirro, and siblings Vito Jr. and wife Heidi, Christina Mirro and Jeff Fraley. Additionally, he is survived by his adoring nieces, Gabrielle and Giuliana Mirro, as well as his nephew Vito III. He leaves behind numerous family members and many loving friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 2422 S. 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, PA. 19064. The family will be receiving friends from 10-11:00am at St. Monica’s Church prior to Mass.
