Phillip Smith

Phillip Darian Smith, 52, of N. Dinwiddie passed away November 1, 2022. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia on June 15, 1970 and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl J. Smith; brother, Marti Eugene Smith and mother and father-in-law, Justine and Curley Potts. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 32 years, Deneen Lee Smith; son, Corey Smith; father and mother, Phillip and Elizabeth Smith; sister, Angie Smith Argueta (Jose); grandmother, Janie Lucille Smith; sister-in-law, Lynn Gravitte and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831.
