Phyllis Owen

Phyllis Christine Owen, 89, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her residence. She was a native of Chesterfield County and the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Lue Henshaw Webster. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Petersburg. Mrs. Owen is survived her children, William Rogers Ellis of Dinwiddie, Mary Ann Gibbs of Dinwiddie, Bernard Rodgers Ellis Jr. of Hopewell, and Terry Glenn Ellis of Hopewell; sisters, Lavenia Coleman of Petersburg, Violet W. Johnston of Dinwiddie, and Joyce W. Joyner of Prince George; a brother, Charles Webster of Florida; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 300 Poplar Drive, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 with Pastor Brandon Koleda officiating.
