Prem Bhardwaj

Prem Lata Bhardwaj, 61, of Chesterfield, formerly of Ludhiana Punjab, India, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Johnston-Willis Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Devi Dyal and Puran Devi Sharma, and was preceded in death by two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Harbans Lal Bhardwaj, Professor at Virginia State University; two daughters, Dr. Hem Lata Bhardwaj and Ms. Monica Lata Bhardwaj both of Chesterfield; extended family of brothers, a sister, a brother-in-law; and numerous nieces & nephews living in India. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
