Preston Eugene Flint, 78, of Colonial Heights, formerly of Lexington, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Preston P. and Frances Nicely Flint. Mr. Flint was a United States Marine Corps veteran, and a retired truck driver. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and was an avid hobbyist. Mr. Flint is survived by his son, Andrew "Mick" Flint and wife, Terisa of Virginia Beach; four daughters, Connie Craig of Lexington, Sheila Sokal of Colonial Heights, Donna "Tiny" Flint of Colonial Heights, and Stephanie Flint of Colonial Heights; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrea, Richard, Hassie, Kayla, Amber, Crystal, Alivia, Braden and Lukas; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Johnnie Flint and wife, Crystal of North Carolina; and a sister, Joy Pickett and husband, Bob of New York. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
