Rachel Sadler

Rachel Louise Sadler 90, of Matoaca, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Friendship Health Care Center in Roanoke, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Smiley Carlton and Edna Barker Sadler and was preceded in death by her sister Grace Sadler Walsh. Miss Sadler was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church where she attended the Naomi Ladies Bible Class. She is survived by a nephew, Allen B. Walsh, of Lebanon, Virginia; two nieces, Elizabeth (Joy) Miles and husband, Daniel of Roanoke, Virginia and Jan W. Hamric, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at Matoaca Baptist Church, 6409 River Road, Matoaca, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend Donald Joyner officiating. Interment East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.
