Ralph Parker Johnson, Sr., 80, of Colonial Heights, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Leonidus Parker and Edna Vaden Johnson. Ralph was a member of the POGO and the Eagles. He was Past President of Richclean, and a former member of the Colonial Heights Kiwanis Club. He was the Owner of Johnson's Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Colonial Heights. Along with his brother Walter, they carried on the family business after the passing of their father, Leonidus. Ralph was still very active in the business with his sons, Parker and Sidney until his death. He is survived by his wife, Ann F. Johnson; two sons, Parker Johnson and wife, Sharon of Colonial Heights, and Sidney Johnson of Prince George; a granddaughter, Stacy Bradford and husband, Jeff of Colonial Heights; a grandson, Camden B. Johnson of Prince George; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Keri and Cade Parker Bradford all of Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
