Ralph Winfree Moore, 88, of North Dinwiddie passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born on September 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Thomas Hunter and Mabel Johnson Moore and was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Lacy and three brothers, Thomas Moore Jr., Percy Moore and Melvin Moore.
Mr. Moore proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a retired Operator with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Jean Moore; daughters, Betty Fields and Cynthia Harris (fiancé, Michael Willis); grandchildren, Christina Langford (Wayne), Brandy Toombs (Chad), Blake Harris and Trey Harris (fiancée, Berkley Branzelle); great-grandchildren, Jillian Langford and Sophie Toombs; sister, Phyllis Lester (Charles); brother, James Allen Moore (Joyce) and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Remains will rest at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
