Ralph Rendell

Ralph George Rendell, 82, of Prince George, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. He was born July 20, 1931 in Massachusetts to the late Alfred V. and Matilda Bennett Rendell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria B. Rendell. Mr. Rendell retired after 20 years of service from the United States Army, and retired as a Mail Carrier for the United States Post Office. He is survived by a sister, Phyllis Steiner and husband, John of Lexington, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews; and a faithful friend, Joseph B. Gupton Sr. and wife, Martha A. Gupton. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend David Prather officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights / Petersburg S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 1174, Petersburg, Virginia 23804.
