Randall Lamb

Randall Leon Lamb, 86, of Colonial Heights passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Born May 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Louis and Martha Lamb, and was also preceded in death by four brothers. Randall was a United States Army and Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician and was a supervisor electrician for the US Defense Supply Center Richmond. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 284. An avid outdoorsman, Randall enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Sussex Hunt Club. He also enjoyed farming in Prince Edward County. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Carolyn Pride Lamb; two daughters, Lorie Lamb Conneen and husband, Kevin, and Pamela Lamb Embry and husband, Gregory; three grandsons, Chad Embry, Brandon Conneen, and Parker Embry; brother, Paul Bullock; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at St. Christopher’s Home Care, especially James Udeh for his extraordinary care of Randall in his time of need. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
