Randolph "Randy" Winfree Moore Sr., 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia on November 14, 1943 to the late William Randolph and Helen Winfree Price Moore and was preceded in death by his brothers, William Donald Moore and Allan Gidd Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and was employed by Vulcan Materials for 57 years. He loved bowling, NASCAR, Virginia Tech and Redskins football, the beach, and taking his boys fishing. He was also a former member of the Petersburg Optimist Club. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy H. Moore; sons, Randolph W. “Win” Moore Jr. (Earlene) and Jason C. Moore (Amy); grandchildren, Coty Moore (Amber Kontovich), Ryan Bell, currently stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and Tyler Bell; sister, Dianne Varga (Wayne); brother, Francis Moore (Billie); sister-in-law, Dale B. Moore; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved grand-dogs. A memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
