Rebecca Lee

Rebecca H. Lee, 90, of Chester, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Johnston-Willis Medical Center. Born in Roanoke, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon B. and Mollie Tosh Hendrick, and the widow of James S. Lee Sr. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin, Ray and Calvin Hendrick. Mrs. Lee was a charter member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Colonial Heights. She is survived by two sons, James S. Lee Jr. and wife, Pamela M. of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Jeffrey B. Lee and wife, Robin W. of Chester; four grandchildren, Amber Amato and husband, Dario, Aaron Lee, Travis Lee and wife, Mara, and Stephen Lee; two great-grandchildren, Noah G. Amato, Maia Amato; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 in Sherwood Memorial Park, 1250 E. Main Street, Salem, Virginia 24153 with the Reverend Wayne Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
