Rebecca Dianne Nikolaisen

Our beloved mother, wife, and friend, Rebecca Dianne Nikolaisen of Coles Point, VA, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023, at the family home in Chester, VA. Mom lived for 81 years, touching the lives of everyone she met. Her love of family was an inspiration to many. Mom passed on her love for cooking and gardening to her children, in addition to her generosity and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyce and Mollie Lee Tiller; siblings, Norman, Mary, Doris, Betty, Katherine, Zeke, and Pete; and her precious granddaughter, Chonna Nikole Sine. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Walter Nikolaisen; her children, Kenneth Walter Nikolaisen, Jr. (Cindy), Cynthia Lee Contreras (Rick), Dwayne Elliott Nikolaisen, and DeeAnna Nikolaisen Brockwell (Jimmy); beloved bonus daughter, Catherine Jordan Nikolaisen; grandchildren, Chance Branden Sine (Tisha), Danielle Ann Nikolaisen, Kayla Elizabeth Nikolaisen, Kaitlyn Rebecca Nikolaisen, Phillip Kenneth Nikolaisen (Alyssa), and Brandon Elliott Nikolaisen; three great-grandchildren; longtime and very devoted friends, Ray and Roxianne Parrish and Juanita Usual; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She had a passionate love for the “rivah” and took great joy in creating delicious meals and amazing desserts for her family and friends to enjoy together with her while overlooking the Potomac River. Mom, may you rest in peace and dance with the angels.
