Reginald Lee Mann, Jr., 91, departed this life on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Dunlop House, Colonial Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Hopson Mann, his parents, Reginald Lee, Sr. and Nina May Wheelhouse Mann, his brother, John Albert Mann, and a sister, Grace Mann Lockridge. He is survived by his children, Dorothy (Ellis) Dunkum, Reginald (Bubba) (Donna) Mann, Nita (Dewain) Hammond; grandchildren, Kelly Lyda, Jim (Sandi) Dunkum, Crystal (Ron) Regnery, Stacy (Mike) Chisholm, Monica (Philip) Tunstal, Eric (Tammy) Dunkum, Heather (Orlando) Perez, Jason (Gina) Brooks, and Jennifer Brooks; and 16 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Shelton Lyda, Austin and Delton Dunkum, Cameron and Colin Regnery, Jed and Kate Dunkum, Noah and Holland Chisholm, Corey and Caleigh Tunstal, Nina and Mya Perez, and Jacob and Hunt Brooks. He leaves one sister, Joyce Mann Delrosario; sister-in-law, Grace Hopson Beasley; brothers-in-law, Arthur Beasley and John Licata. Reggie was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church for over 70 years. He conducted Wednesday night worship services at the Colonial Heights Convalescent Center for 14 years. He was a member of Woodpecker Community Grange, the Golden Years Club, South Chesterfield Ruritan Club and Blandford Masonic Lodge #3. He was a member of the Gideon's International sharing God's word with young boys and men who were incarcerated. He was an electrician by trade and a gunsmith. The family would like to thank the staff at Dunlop House and Crater Community Hospice for their professionalism and dedication to their patients. A special thank you to Willard (Barner) Poarch and members of the Chesterfield South Gideons. A memorial service will be conducted at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chesterfield South Gideon's International, P.O. Box 185, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory.
