Reta Bryant

Reta Pearl Huff Bryant, 88, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 and is at peace with God. She was the loving wife for fifty years of Harold E. Bryant, who preceded her in death. Born October 26, 1924, she was one of six children of Joseph William Huff and Pearl Inize Huff. Her brothers Keith, Joseph, George, and Robert have also preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Ruby A. Gaither of Hoxie, Arkansas; her children, Robert R. Bryant and his wife, Linda Bryant, Richard L Bryant, Eric A. Bryant and Deborah Bryant-Spence and her husband, Phillip Spence. She has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will also dearly miss her. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Colonial Heights, Virginia and in later years of the Church of Christ in New Castle, Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Mausoleum entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
