Rhonda Eileen Rowley McCabe, 61, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at MCV Medical Center. Born in Geneva, New York, she was the daughter of the late Wilson E. and Mary Campbell Rowley. Mrs. McCabe attended the Family Worship & Praise Center, Hopewell. She was a softball coach for the Matoaca Youth Association for many years, where she was recognized on the Youth Association Wall of Fame, and a former Chesterfield County Softball Commissioner. She was a member of the Matoaca Booster club, and assisted with the Colonial Heights Jaycees. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Matthew McCabe Jr. of Chesterfield; a daughter, Tina Eileen McCabe of Chesterfield; a son, Michael Alan McCabe of Colonial Heights; two granddaughters, Riley Alison McCabe and Taylor Alan McCabe; two brothers, Richard "Dick" Rowley and James "Jimmy" Rowley; two sisters, Janice Taylor and Jackie Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. David Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Matoaca Youth Association, P.O.
