Rhonda Roberts

Rhonda McNew Roberts, 50, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was preceded in death by a brother Richard Wade McNew. Ms. Roberts was a former employee with Virginia Abrasives Corporation, Prince George. She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Vincent of Richmond and Nicole Effner of Hopewell; her mother, Lois Griffin Gibbs of Church Road; a sister, Tonia Jarratt and husband, Waverly of Sussex; and three grandsons, Hunter, Trevor and Jonathan. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be sent to Lois Gibbs, 12704 Cox Rd., Church Road, Virginia 23833 to help with the funeral expenses.
