Rhonda Smith

Rhonda Gail Fleming Smith, 65, of Waverly passed away on February 19, 2023. Born on March 9, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Early Ray Fleming and John and Betty Lou Cothran, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Howard Smith.

Rhonda enjoyed a career as a docent for Floyd County Historical Society for many years. She also enjoyed researching her family and their history through genealogy. Rhonda was also a member of the Eastern Star, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by her son, Robert Travis Smith and husband, Terry; grandson, Alexander Johnson-Smith; and other extended family members.

Interment will be private.
