Richard Allen

Richard W. Allen, 77, of Dinwiddie passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was born on February 20, 1944 to the late Clifford and Bertha Wells Allen, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Robert Allen; and one niece, Terri Bryant. Richard retired after many years of service from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. He is survived by his children, Dennis W. Allen, Kimberly Allen Underwood and husband Rusty, Clifford Allen; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Underwood, Jacob Underwood, Nicholas Underwood; one brother, Cliff Allen and wife, Ruth; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George 23805.  The family will receive friends Friday morning, February 25, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
