Richard Cadieux Sr.

Richard Raymond Cadieux Sr., 77, of Colonial Heights passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was born January 29, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Raymond and Idola Bouchard Cadieux. Mr. Cadieux was a United States Airforce Veteran and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Colonial Heights. He retired from VDOT after 32 years as a Traffic Engineer. Richard is survived by his wife, Jean Cadieux; three children, Richard Cadieux Jr., Caroline Bouchard, Andre Cadieux and wife, Jenny; one granddaughter, Samantha Cadieux; a brother, Edmund Cadieux and wife, Leona; and three stepchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834 with Father Danny Cogut officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
