Richard C. "Dick" Fisher Sr., 86, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. He was the son of the late Leland and Mary Gunn Fisher and the widower of Juanita W. Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Memorial Methodist Church in Petersburg, the Dinwiddie Masonic Lodge #136, Scottish Rite, Royal Arch, Shriners ACCA Temple, the Petersburg Shriners Oriental Band, a former member of the Optimist Club, Ruritan Club, Civitan Club, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge. He is survived by two sons, John G. Fisher and wife, Donna K. of Quinton, Virginia and Richard C. Fisher Jr. and wife, Valerie of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren, Michael Fisher, Matthew Fisher, Richard C. Fisher III, Paige Fisher, and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Carl Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George with Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
