Richard Allen Hall Sr., 73, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his residence. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, he was the son of the late Richard and Myrtle Click Hall, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Dennis and Linda Carr. Mr. Hall was a 1962 graduate from Mullens High School in Mullens, West Virginia. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired with over 35 years of service from Firestone/Honeywell Manufacturing. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Hopewell Lodge and the American Legion Post #141 Richmond. Richard was an avid bowler, loved to fish, golf, watch sports and spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis Houser Hall; daughter, Cynthia Craft of Prince George; son, Richard Hall Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Steven Hall and wife Heather of Prince George, Amanda Craft of Dinwiddie, Jade Hall of Prince George and Jasmin Hall of Colonial Heights; great grandchildren Blair Hall and Brooke Hall of Prince George; sisters, Judith Adkins, Janice Farnan and husband Chuck, Madonna Bryant, Peggy Silva and husband Waverly, Sylvia Hall and Ramona Messer and husband Larry; brothers, Ronald Hall and Randall Hall. The family will receive friends Monday evening February 27, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 3935 South Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia 23805. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Funeral Home.
