Richard Kamin

Richard Kamin, age 77, of Colonial Heights, VA, formerly of Lansing, IL and Dyer, IN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 5, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Kamin; brother and sister-in-law, Edward (Marcie) Kamin Jr.; and sister, Iola Lee. Rich was an Army veteran having served in Korea, was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, and a former member of Lansing Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; daughters, Debbie (Dan) Fagan of Pitman, NJ and Robin (Dan) Turner of Colonial Heights; six grandchildren, Eric (Michelle) Henard, Brandon (Ashley) Henard, Sean Fagan, Jason Henard, Jonathan Turner, and Rebekah Turner; six great-grandchildren, Ashton Rowsey, Matt Rowsey, Jordan Henard, Evelyn Henard, Mackenzie Henard and Jackson Henard. A celebration of Rich's life will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 7 p.m. at Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Rd., Colonial Heights, with Pastor Steve Felker officiating. Friends may visit with the family in the fellowship hall of the church following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lottie Moon Missionary Fund care of the Swift Creek Baptist Church of Colonial Heights.
