Richard Puffenbarger

Richard Edwin Puffenbarger 85, of Chesterfield, passed away Saturday January 14, 2012 at the Crossings at Iron Bridge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Puffenbarger. Mr. Puffenbarger was a WWII, United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post 284, VFW Post 2239, TPA Club and a charter member of the Community Hunt Club. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda P. Peterson and husband Richard E. Peterson Jr., of Chesterfield, two grandchildren; Craig Richard Peterson and wife; Melissa, Richard Brett Peterson and wife, Melanie, two great-grandchildren, Caleb Joshua, Haleigh Renae, one brother, William, two sisters, Nola Jean, Norma June, dear friend; Carolyn Wilson, and his little buddy Jack. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday January 17, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Darwood Rowan officiating. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association P.O.
