Richard Temple

Richard Lee Temple, 72, loving father and grandfather died May 15, 2008. A native of Dinwiddie County, he was the owner of R. L. Temple Plumbing and a member of Kenwood United Methodist Church and also attended Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Ray and Frances Mae Davis Temple, the widower of Mildred B. Temple and was preceded in death by a brother, Randolph Temple. Survivors include daughters, Linda T. Stamos, Mary T. Wood and husband Dwight; sons, Richard L. Temple, Jr. and wife Donna, Mark E. Temple and wife Melody; grandchildren, Charles Lewis and wife Vickie, Melissa Harris, Steven Temple, Jessica Temple, Mandy Temple and Brooke Temple; great grandchildren, Kierston Beckman and Madison Lewis; sister, Barbara Maitland of Dinwiddie; special friends, Jay and Mary Gray and Calvin and Michelle Adkins, Kaitlyn, CJ and Steven Adkins. A funeral service will take place 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 18, 2008 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Rodney Jenkins officiating. Burial will be private.
