Richard Williams

Richard (Dick) Page Williams, 73, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009 at Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond. He was the son of the late Richard B. and Mary Fulks Williams. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nolan Williams and a sister, Rosa Wilson. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Marine veteran, and was retired from Reynolds Metals. He is survived by two sons, Donald P. Williams and wife, Bev of Matoaca, and Michael A Williams of Broadnax, Virginia; six grandchildren, Shannon, Donald Jr., Richard, Dale, Michael Jr. and Johnaton (JJ); five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Avery, Frances Powers, Helen Liles, Kathleen Meadows, and Mable Sue Lyles. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Glenn Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good News Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 5200 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832.
