Robert Anthony

Robert Henry Anthony Sr., 64 of Chesterfield, died Thursday May 27, 2010 at McGuire Veterans Hospital after a courageous year long battle with lymphoma. He was the son of late John Sidney and Bertha Buff Anthony. Mr. Anthony was United States Navy Veteran serving with the Navy Seabees NMCB58. He served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War; he also retired from Reynolds Metal. He is survived by his wife, Karen Boettger Anthony; children, Alyce Kendall Anthony and husband Gregory V. Schmidt, Robert Henry Anthony Jr., and wife Kelly L., Anthony, Megan Anthony Dorn and husband Devin E. Dorn, Mitchell Morrison Anthony, John Sidney Anthony II.; stepson Christopher Boettger and wife Leslie S. Boettger; eight grandchildren; sister Jane A. Crawley and husband William Crawley; a niece and a nephew. A memorial service will take place 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 2, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with Doug Hertless officiating.
