Robert Booth

Robert Leroy Booth, 70, of Chester, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. Staff Sergeant Booth retired from the United States Army, and also retired from Philip Morris. He enjoyed making oil paintings, raising pigeons, and being outdoors; especially, while hunting, fishing, or gardening. He is survived by his children, Rickey H. Booth Sr. (Jean), Daniel Booth (Sherri), and Venus LaPrade (Carsten); grandchildren, Michelle, Bubba, Joshua, Kenneth, Megan, Rickey Jr., Tucker, Nicholas, Caitlyn, and Madison; great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Johnson, and Dave Bartlebaugh; and a number of other family members. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
