Robert Childrey

Robert David "R.D." Childrey, 69, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Southside Reginal Medical Center, Petersburg. He was the son of the late Daly and Ruby Bullock Childrey. "R.D." was a U.S. Army and Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Paralyzed Veterans Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Juliana Childrey; and a son, Kevin Childrey of Chester. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 4-6 p.m.at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home 3935 S. Crater Road Petersburg. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery,10300 Pridesville Road Amelia, Virginia 23002 with The Reverend Wayne Marburger Officiating.
