Robert Collins Sr.

Robert E. Collins, Sr., 69, of Petersburg, died Friday May 29, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. Mr. Collins, a native of Ohio, was the son of the late Ray Edward and Gwendolyn Geneva Denny Collins had been employed with NAPA, and was preceded in death by a son Robert E. (Bo) Collins, Jr.. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Josie Marie Collins; a daughter ,Tina Hall & husband, William of Dinwiddie; a son, James Edward Collins & fiancée, Debbie of Prince George; and five grandchildren, Christopher Poulson & fiancée, Crystal Buyalos, Ashley Poulson & fiancée, Bryan Brayboy, Matthew Hall, Megan Hall, and Steeler Collins. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road, Petersburg with Mr. Harold Dooley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place in Southlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
