Robert Deadman Sr.

Robert L. Deadmon Sr., 77, of Prince George County passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Born in Petersburg, he was son of the late James E. Deadmon and Sarah Meadows Deadmon. Mr. Deadmon was retired from Honeywell, and was a member of Monumental Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carroll S. Deadmon; two sons, Robert L. Deadmon Jr. and J. Scott Deadmon and his wife, Lesli all of Prince George; a daughter, Cynthia D. Moon and her husband, David of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren, Zachary & Jeremiah Deadmon and Christina & Dave Moon; a sister Annie Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, with the Reverend Robert Livesay officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
