Robert Eley Jr.

Robert Edward Lee Eley, Jr., 71, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Born May 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert Edward Lee Eley Sr. and Margaret Bulifant Eley. Mr. Eley was a United States Navy veteran, serving from 1967 to 1971, and a 1974 graduate of Southside Regional School of Professional Nursing. He retired from Hiram Davis Medical Center with 27 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Sue Massey Eley; two sons, Robert Eley III and wife, Amanda and Scott Eley and wife, Emily; and grandchildren, Lee Eley IV, Berkley McCabe, Rhian Eley and Sawyer Eley.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Wayne Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
