Robert Hudson Sr.

Robert E. Hudson Sr., 89, of Colonial Heights passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1924 to the late Robert Bolan and Frankie Hunly Hudson and was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Mary Pearl Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a WWII United States Army Veteran and a recipient of a Purple Heart. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a avid hunter. He is survived by two sons, Robert E. Hudson Jr. and wife, Sue of DeWitt, and Roland E. Hudson and wife Yvette of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Keith R. Hudson and wife Julia, Kimberly F. McCartney, Justin A. Hudson, Roland Hudson Jr. and wife Lorri, Holly N. Hudson, Meghan E. Hudson and numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard 23834.
