Robert Moody Jr.

Robert Edward Moody Jr., 74, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert and Elsie Simmons Moody. Mr. Moody was a Member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights Virginia. He was a long time member of the Virginia Education Association and a retired teacher who taught in the Virginia Beach School System. He enjoyed to travel going on Mission work all over South America. He is survived by Cousins, Debbie Moody, Wayne Moody, Linda Brown, Robyn Moody, Jimmy Moody, Cindy Nugent and Kevin Moody; three aunts, Janie Ozmore and husband, Linwood, Mildred G. Moody and Pat Mullice and husband, Charles. A funeral service will be held11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, 23834, with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Burial to follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
