Robert Rochelle

Robert Louis Rochelle 56, of Chesterfield County, passed away September 25, 2010 at Retreat Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father Claude Robert Rochelle. Mr. Rochelle was a graduate of Gibbons High School and John Tyler Community College. He was a state employee for 34 years; he retired as a Senior Procurer with the Virginia Department of Education. He is survived by his daughter Lauri Rochelle and husband Elijah Thompson, mother Florence Plakas Rochelle, aunts, one uncle, and several nieces. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday September 28, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with Father Lou Ruoff officiating.
