Robert Seay

Robert C. Seay, 82, of Petersburg passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Born August 15, 1934, he was the son of the late Claude and Rachel Seay, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Eunice S. Seay. Robert grew up in church at Ettrick United Methodist. He was a self-employed roofer for over 30 years and worked for Vulcan Materials for over 20 years. Whether it was hunting or working in the garden, Mr. Seay enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his sons, Mike Treihaft and wife, Linda, Robert L. Seay, Kenneth W. Seay, Paul C. Seay; daughters, Sandra S. Jones and husband, George, Carole Dewees and husband, Robert; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Jean LeGrand; special nephew, Derek LeGrand; and numerous other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
