Robert Talbott

Robert Joseph Talbottt, 45, died November 4, 2013 from a battle with lung cancer. He was born December 14, 1967 and lived in the Petersburg area most of his life. He was preceded in death by his brother, James W. "Wain" Talbott, Jr.; sister, Dawn Shriver Lipscomb; grandparents, Herbert and Mary Alice Marable and Raymond and Bessie Talbott. He is survived by his Mother, Michaele Shriver and stepfather, Ralph; father, James W. Talbott Sr.; sons, Dustin and Wain; Step mother Peggy Jordan; step sisters Denise Tipton (Todd), and Annette Shriver; step brother, Jonathan Shriver; cousin Ricky Talbott and his daughter Tyler and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his family at New Life for Youth. Robert was an accomplished roofer, however, recently had begun an internship with New Life for Youth. Robert fought many battles and hurts throughout his life, however, he had come to know what God had planned for him recently, only to have that plan interrupted by cancer. He fought the good fight and won the war. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church 17201 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Colonial Heights , Virginia 23834, with a period of visitation following the service. Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
