Robert Wheeler

Robert Benjamin Wheeler, 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Born in Waverly, he was the son of the late Robert and Lizzie Drewry Wheeler, and was preceded in death by a brother, Horace Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a retired construction worker, and a member of Powhatan Starke Masonic Lodge #124 A.F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife, Louise Shelton Wheeler; cousins, Estelle Keith of Yorktown, and Mabel Sebera of Waverly; niece, Dorothy Wheeler Rogers. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 12, 2010 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Reverend Dr. Andrew Brockelman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060 and Odyssey Health Care, 2801 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
