Robert Wilson Jr.

Robert K. (Bob) Wilson, 80, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Dinwiddie Health & Rehab Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Kenneth Wilson, Emma J. Wilson, and his wife, Barbara M. Wilson. Bob worked for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company as a machinist for 30 years. He is survived by his children, Cathy Wilson, Kim W. Jones (Mike), and Ricky Wilson (Tammy); grandchildren, Jordan Thomas, Michael Jones (Kristin), Logan Jones (Rachel), Cory Jones (Christina), Tyler Wilson, Matthew Wilson (Justine), Brandon Wilson (Lindsey), Ricky Wilson Jr., Jessica Emory, and Marc Emory; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Davis and Sally Dearing (Scott), friend, Joe Kiley; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Dinwiddie Rehab and Intrepid Hospice for their care and support. We would also like to thank a dear and special friend and caregiver, Lonnie Morgan who helped in so many ways. We would also like to thank all of his special friends who came to visit and care for him. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Smith's Grove United Methodist Church, 8301 Smith Grove Lane, Petersburg, Virginia 23803.
