Robert Wood Sr.

Robert Alva Wood Sr., 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Ira Wood and Elma Gladys Meredith Wood, and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Otey Wood. Mr. Wood was a retired HVAC Mechanic. He is survived by his children, Robert A. Wood Jr., Elizabeth Ann Powers, Belinda Gayle Crowder, and husband Richard, and Brian K. Wood Sr.; grandchildren, Christy Thomas, Lisa Wood, Lindsey Johnson, Donnie Powers, Brandon Powers, April Gill, and Brian K. Wood Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
