Robin Clampitt Shell, 64, of S. Chesterfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020, after a five-year battle with cancer. We will miss her love of family, her tenacious spirit, and her generous heart. She never met a stranger, and she always helped those in need. She loved her family dearly and her cats. She was a long-time member of Living Stone Baptist Church in Dinwiddie County. Robin retired from Prince George General District court system. Mrs. Shell lived a life of faith, love, and exuberance. She enjoyed fellowship with friends and family, being outdoors, working in her garden and planting her flowers. The world will forever be without one of God’s most loving servants.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Gilmer Wayne Clampitt and Bettie Carson Weatherford. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, William T. Shell; her son, Eric J. Hill (Rikki); twin daughters, Tara L. Shell and Crystal L. Shell; a brother, Wayne C. Clampitt of Colonial Heights; a sister, Brenda C. Arnett of Macon, Georgia; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2020 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. Her remains will rest between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
