Roland Reaux

SFC Roland Joseph Reaux, U.S. Army (Ret.), 87, of Colonial Heights passed away on Thursday June 18, 2015. He was the son of the late Raymond J. Reaux and Elmire Moulis. During his military career, he served in WWII, the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Reaux was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his service. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Colonial Heights. Mr. Reaux is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dong Yoon Reaux; son, Ray Anthony Reaux and wife, Miky Reaux; two grandsons, Anthony Roland Reaux and Nicholas Yubin Reaux; brothers, Oneil J. Moulis, Willie and Donald Reaux; a sister, Sylvia Brown; and niece, Betty J. Hebert. A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday June 22, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery, Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
