Ronald B. Faison, 74, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Harry Ennis and Ethel Murray Faison. Mr. Faison was a member of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, the Sons of the Confederacy, and a Benefactor to the National Rifle Association. He was a retired draftsman with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. He is survived by his wife, Hilda M. Faison; his children, Lesley Lynn Faison of Colonial Heights, Brian Faison and wife, Nicolle of Colonial Heights, Lori E. Dixon and husband, Ken of Chester, and Libby Faison Brown and husband, Waverly of Chester; seven grandchildren, Drew Dixon, Ryan Elaine Dixon, Trey Brown, Loren Brown, Nicholas Faison, Courtney Faison, and Hunter Faison; a sister, Carol Faison Ridout of Chesterfield. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Ronnie West officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
