Ronnie Bowers

Ronnie Lee Bowers, 62, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1952 to the late Virgie Sylvanah Hollins Bowers. Mr. Bowers was retired from Honeywell in Hopewell as a Millwright. He is survived by a son, Michael Shane Bowers and wife, Kathryn of S. Chesterfield; daughter, Tabitha Gail Bowers of Colonial Heights; three grandchildren, Ashlynn Bowers, Zachary Bowers, Payton Gelina; sister; Carolyn Bowers of S. Chesterfield; a nephew, Dwight Bowers; and a brother, Donnie Bowers of Prince George. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Gibby Elder officiating. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
