Rosalie Perkins

Rosalie Long Perkins 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was born April 4, 1941 to the late Levi W. and Eva Eisemon Long. She was preceded in death by a brother; Francis E. Long, and a great-grandson Jayden Wayne Simmons. Rosalie is survived by her loving husband Elijah Perkins, three sons Steven F. Perkins and wife Cathy, of Disputanta, Jeffrey T. Perkins and wife, Stacy of S. Chesterfield and Gary L. Perkins of Chesterfield; grandchildren Hollie Perkins, Valerie S. Perkins, Rusty L, Perkins, her twin sister, Lynn Nornton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Wards Chapel Cemetery 7818 Namozine Road Crewe, Virginia 23930. The family will receive friends Monday, July 17, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
