Roy Christian Jr.

TSGT Roy Lee Christian Jr., USAF (ret.), 79, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his residence. Born in Vago, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Roy L. and Christine Wykle Christian. He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Petersburg and the proprietor of Christians Locksmith for over 25 years. Mr. Christian is survived by his wife, Irene Mae Christian; his children, Sharon Lee Christian and husband, Bill Parks of Mechanicsville, Patty Williams and husband, Scott of Carson and Jeffrey Scott Christian and wife, Kathy M. of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren, Patrick Andrews, Tim Williams, Nicole Cliborne and Travis Christian; four step-grandchildren, Devan Farrish, Tori Davis, Jason Parks, and Andrew Parks; nine great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Samuel Christian and wife, Linda of Ronceverte, West Virginia, Geraldine Orton of Vermont, Lorraine Dartt of Ronceverte, Norma Carter and husband, Gary of Ronceverte, Doris Scruggs and husband, Curt of Mt. Sidney; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Sam Maye officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
