Roy Mattox

Roy Lee Mattox, 93, of Disputanta passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. Mr. Mattox was the third generation proprietor of Mattox Lumber Company. He was the son of the late George and Lillie Mattox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois W. Mattox. Mr. Mattox is survived by his son, John Robert Mattox and his daughter in law, Martha Y. of Prince George along with numerous cousins. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday November 19, 2012 in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Robert Livesay officiating. Arrangements by the Petersburg Chapel of the E.
