Ruby Evans

Ruby Grant Evans, 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  She was born in Blackstone, Virginia on January 26, 1930 to the late Frank Grant Sr. and Ella Simon Grant.   Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray Evans Sr.

She is survived by her children, Willie R. Evans Jr., Donald L. Evans and wife Linda, Shelby Lyn Via; Steven G. Evans; grandchildren, Michael Evans, Brandon Evans and wife Tamara, Donald E. Via Jr., and Amanda Marie Via; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lexie Evans; sister, Ethel Houser of Chester; brother, Henry Grant of Richmond; nephew, Emmett Eggleston and wife Charlotte; nieces, Sarah Harrison and Rita Futas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832.  Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
